TOP SECRET Reels Algorithm Tips Below⤵️
Did you know that Instagram Creators shared what the Reels Algorithm prioritizes and what they don’t?

Here’s a quick breakdown of the videos that don’t typically land on the explore pages:

❌ Low-Res Videos:
Videos that have a low quality or have been put through several apps before being uploaded to Reels.

✅ Fix:
Record your Reels within the IG editing software to ensure the best quality of video.

❌ Watermarks:
Any video that has a watermark on it will not be shown on the explore pages (especially watermarks that start with a T 😉).

✅ Fix:
Use the TT downloaded website to save without a watermark.

❌ Borders:
Borders around the video or on the bottom and/or top of the video.

✅ Fix:
Record with your phone vertical for all things Reels. Similar to stories, reels is recorded in the 9:16 dimensions.

If you must record your reel in the horizontal format, use CANVA to create a fun way to display your video in the horizon format.

❌ Text On Faces:
Any video that has too much text or text completely covering the face.

✅ Fix:
Keep text to a minimum by using bullet points and adding *more info in caption* like this video, so you can explain in detail in the caption.

❌ Bad Lighting:
This is when the subject of the video is hard to see/filmed in dark or backlit spaces.

✅ Fix:
RING LIGHTS are a must for recording Reels.
If you aren’t able to invest in a ring light, get in front of the biggest window you have and use natural lighting in front of you to record.
